Texarkana Arkansas Souvenir Postcard Mail Card with fold-out pictures patented date Dec, 5 1905.
The historical souvenir postcard features the Miller County Court House on the cover. With a rotation of a brad, a fold-out of 12 additional historical buildings fold out. These buildings include Huckins House, R.R. Y.M.C.A., Cotton Belt Hospital, Union Depot, Texarkana, Ward School Building Texarkana Texas, Post Office, Texarkana Ark & Texas, Residence of Dr. J.R. Dale, First Presbyterian Church, Texarkana National Bank of Texarkana Texas, Ward School, The Avenue, Cotton Market Texarkana Texas.
This post card measures 5 1/2" tall & 3 3/4" wide. The front of the card has some damage. It looks as if it was repaired by some glue and it has turned a brown color (see photos). There is also a slight tear from the rotation of the brad holding the internal pictures (see pics). The internal pictures show yellowing due to age but are in really good condition for over 100 years old.
The back of the mailer shows some yellowing & staining but clear print & writing. It is addressed to Miss Grace Briant of Hope Arkansas but never mailed.
This fantastic historical piece shows some of the most historical buildings of Texarkana Arkansas & Texas. It would make a great addition to the Texarkana collectors collection!
